Team Sets New Record with Biggest Addition in PBL History
The Lake Michigan Admirals newest addition to their team is someone they believe could be the most impactful player in the league, on the court and in their community.
"Big Bob", or formally known as, Robert Wegner, was recently signed to the Admirals and has been one of the busiest new athletes around the league. Wegner stands at a whopping 7'8" and could be Glisson's secret weapon to success this season.
"He's the tallest professional basketball player in the world, but more importantly, he has the biggest heart in the world," stated Glisson.
The 21-year old from New Hampshire recently caught the attention of the media and was interviewed on national television on ABC.
Wegner has already made quite the impact on the community of his new home where he's made appearances at some of the local schools in St. Joseph, Michigan, to discuss education, hunger and raise awareness for numerous types of cancer and how we can help. Wegner and Glisson's Admirals were able to help raise $10,000 for the Linda Asbury cancer benefit.
